the lobby is really nice n makes a good first impression. the location is perfect for walkin around savannah and the beds were super comfy. the rooms are air conditioned well, which is great for hot days. its nice that there’s a pool, even if its just for loungin. staff were friendly and tried to help when they could.
room was kinda dusty and housekeeping didn’t clean it well after i asked. also, the pool is super tiny, just not great for swimmin.

The lobby of The DeSoto was so stylish, I felt like I had stepped into a chic magazine shoot; the ambiance was bright and inviting. My recent stay at The DeSoto was delightful. The location offered easy access to Savannah's charm, and the rooftop pool provided much-needed relaxation. Although some street noise crept in at night, the overall atmosphere was inviting and the staff friendly.

missingWrote a review on Nov 17room balconyhistoric locationnice viewnoisy pipes
Room balcony overlooks the historic area, offering a nice view for morning coffee. Location makes it a smooth stroll to many of the town's attractions.
Housekeeping left something to be desired; a light by the closet was out and the towel rack dangled precariously. On the morning of check-out, the loud water pipes echoed through the bathroom, a real buzzkill when you’re trying to enjoy some peace. My room’s air conditioning felt fixed at a certain temperature, which was more than a little uncomfortable. the frequent sounds from the nearby street didn't help when it came to relaxation.

Beautiful lobby and comfy beds. The service was friendly, but the pool is small and often crowded. Tried a walking tour nearby and it was a great experience.

missingWrote a review on Nov 10amazing restaurantbreathtaking viewgreat pooldisappointing roomhidden breakfast cost
Y'all, that restaurant in the lobby is a game-changer—service and food were top-notch! Plus, the view from the balcony was downright drool-worthy. Also, the pool was a fantastic way to cool off after a day of exploring. Can’t forget to mention how close we were to some incredible eats like Artillery and Hitch!
Now, the room? Not what I expected—just two beds and a desk with TV issues. Had to pay extra for breakfast, and they were missing the little things like a fridge and coffee maker. For the price, I was hoping for a bit more sparkle, but that view nearly made up for it!

Y’all, the poolside vibes are pure gold! It’s a fab escape after a day of feasting on local delights, like those mouthwatering sandwiches from Hitch just a hop away. big shoutout to the valets—they're like your personal Savannah tour guides, always ready with recommendations.
Now, don’t get me wrong, but the hallway could use a little love—it was a bit grungy. Plus, the shower door had a mind of its own, swinging open like it owned the place.

would stay here again
The hotel has excellent air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, plus a nice balcony offering great views of the surroundings. The private bathroom included a shower and plenty of free toiletries. The fitness centre is well equipped, featuring modern cardio machines and weights. The lobby decor is super stylish, adding to the overall classy vibe.

missingWrote a review on Nov 02convenient locationcomfortable roomprompt serviceconfusing policieslack of daily housekeeping
The convenience of the location made exploring downtown Savannah quite easy, with many attractions just a short walk away. The room was comfortable, and I appreciated the prompt delivery of a refrigerator when I requested one. the check-in process was a bit confusing regarding housekeeping policies, which dampened the experience slightly.
